Intense Pulsed Light ( IPL) can gently remove
unwanted hair permanently.

The light from the IPL unit penetrates through the skin and is absorbed in the target pigment (melanin) found in the hair shaft.

The absorbed light is converted to thermal energy which causes injury to the hair follicle without injuring the
surrounding tissue.

This prevents the hair follicle from growing new hair.

Permanent hair reduction usually takes between
4 – 6 sessions depending on the thickness of the hair.

This is because the hair must be in the growing phase
of its’ cycle when the treatment is performed.

At any one time, only 40% of hairs are actively growing
